Fleuron

Fleuron is a robust and creamy blue cheese from the Laurentian region of Quebec. Les Fromagers de la Table Ronde produces cheeses using certified organic milk. The family embraces an outlook and an approach to craftsmanship that is inspired by the medieval knights of the round table. The flavour reveals a mixture that is mushroomy, woodsy and farmy. Its appearance is rustic with grey and white flora on the rind, and the inside is well veined, slightly grainy and very creamy. It has a noticeable salty and tangy bite, making it a beautiful pairing with honey, maple syrup or your favourite port.
